The Social Insurance Organization (SIO) of Bahrain is a cornerstone institution responsible for providing social security services to individuals in both public and private sectors.

Established under Law No. 3 of 2008, SIO assumed the duties of the Pension Fund Commission and the General Organization for Social Insurance, unifying the nation's social security framework.
