The Social Insurance Organization (SIO) of Bahrain is a cornerstone institution responsible for providing social security services to individuals in both public and private sectors.

Established under Law No. 3 of 2008, SIO assumed the duties of the Pension Fund Commission and the General Organization for Social Insurance, unifying the nation's social security framework. Despite its critical role and extensive coverage, SIO faced several key challenges that hindered its ability to fully realize its mission Through the implementation of the Social Security Applications Integrated Suite (SSAIS) and ERP, SIO has revolutionized its operations, to ensure the delivery of exceptional social insurance services with enhanced efficiency, sustainability, and a commitment to operational excellence.
